US Mint Offers El Yunque Quarter Three Coin Set

On February 7, 2012, the United States Mint began accepting orders for the 2012 America the Beautiful Quarters Three Coin Set featuring the El Yunque National Forest Quarters. Starting with this release, the product type will incorporate images specific to each national site.

Each three coin set includes one uncirculated quarter struck at the Philadelphia Mint, one uncirculated quarter struck at the Denver Mint, and one proof quarter struck at the San Francisco Mint. These coins are mounted together on a plastic card featuring a full color image on the front and descriptions of the park and coin on the back, along with a certificate of authenticity.

The 2012 El Yunque Quarter Three Coin Sets are priced at $9.95 each, under the reduced pricing levels previously announced by the US Mint.

The United States Mint has previously offered for sale numismatic bags and rolls containing circulating quality examples of the El Yunque National Forest Quarters. The three coin sets as well as the bags and rolls can be ordered online at http://catalog.usmint.gov/
