The U.S. Mint has announced that it will begin taking orders for the 5-ounce America the Beautiful Theodore Roosevelt National Park coins at noon on October 6. The current price is $149.95 (subject to fluctuations in the value of silver, currently $19.35 per ounce).
Struck in .999 fine silver, the coins will bear the Philadelphia (P) mintmark. Each coin is enclosed in a protective capsule within a presentation-quality case, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
