The San Francisco Mint’s 2018 Silver Reverse Proof Set to go on sale July 23

On July 23 at noon (ET), the San Francisco Mint’s 2018 Silver Reverse Proof Set (18XC) will go on sale on the Mint’s website. The set commemorates the 50th anniversary of the San Francisco Mint producing Proof coinage and features two lenses. Each coin in the set possesses the “S” mint mark of the San Francisco Mint and each set is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The set has a household order limit of 10 and mintage and product limits of 200,000 each. The San Francisco Mint’s 2018 Silver Reverse Proof Set will retail for $54.95 on the Mint’s website.

Coins included in the set are one Lincoln penny, one Jefferson nickel, one silver Roosevelt dime, one silver Kennedy half dollar, one Native American $1 coin, and five silver America the Beautiful Quarters Program coins. The America the Beautiful quarters included honor Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore; Apostle Islands National Lakeshore; Voyageurs National Park; Cumberland Island National Seashore; and Block Island National Wildlife Refuge. Each coin in the set features a Reverse Proof finish and the dime, quarters, and half dollar are composed of 90 percent silver.
