The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta has released the “Clash of the Coins” on their website. The Clash of the Coins is a tournament-style matchup of classic American coins broken down into four categories: Symbols, Artistry, History, and Economic Role. Visitors to the website of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta can vote each week on which coins they want to see move forward in each category. Eventually, coins listed in the Symbols and Artistry categories will compete against one another to go up against whichever coin comes out on top of the History and Economic Role categories. By clicking on the coins on the website’s diagram (seen below), participants can read more about each coin and make their choices. The final matchup between the top two coins will occur on March 18.
