March 11, 2020, CCAC meeting: 2021 American Innovation $1 coin — North Carolina

On March 11 at 9:00 a.m. (EDT), the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) held its second of two teleconference meetings to review and discuss designs for the upcoming 2021 American Innovation $1 Coin Program. Below are the various proposed designs for the 2021 North Carolina American Innovation $1 coin. Let us know in the comments which design(s) you would choose!

  1. Apparently the artist of NC-01 has never visited NC lighthouses…or knows of one that I don’t. There are no rock outcroppings in NC with lighthouses on them…nor do the lighthouses typically look like that one does. Or is it supposed to be a stylized thing rather than a real NC lighthouse?
