As you read these words I am getting ready to go to the Whitman Coin & Collectibles Expo in Baltimore next week from Wednesday the 24th through Saturday. What a nice event this will be! Guaranteed! It always is!
On the program is the annual meeting of the Colonial Coin Collectors Club, founded in 1993, and now with several hundred enthusiastic members. Complementing this will be a grand auction by Stack’s Bowers Galleries featuring outstanding colonial coins including in the Archangel Collection, plus two memorable currency collections — the Joel Anderson Collection Part 3 — with many incredible rarities as well as affordable items, and the Caine Collection of federal Proof notes. Each of these is definitive. Beyond that, there are many federal coins from half cents to double eagles, commemoratives, and more — plus additional paper money. If you are looking for it, chances are we have it.
That is not all. A dynamic bourse with hundreds of dealers from all over America awaits you. The Expo, as always, is held in the Baltimore Convention Center in the Inner Harbor area — with many fine hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions.
The Expos are held three times a year — spring, summer, and autumn — and are among the most popular shows on the circuit. You’re cordially invited to attend. If you do and want to chat, track me down on Thursday (my most open day).
If you wish to reach out to me for commentary, questions, or suggestions, I can be contacted via e-mail at
