The United States Mint has started accepting orders for bags and rolls of 2013 White Mountain National Forest Quarters. An array of products are available which include circulating quality coins from the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints. The Philadelphia and Denver Mint coins carrying the “P” and “D” mint marks will also be released for circulation. The San Francisco Mint coins carrying the “S” mint mark are not released for circulation.
The White Mountain National Forest Quarter is the sixteenth release of the America the Beautiful Quarters Program. Launched in 2010 and scheduled to continue until 2021, the program will highlight a National Park or site from each of the 50 states, 5 U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia. The present release represents White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire with a view of Mt. Chocorua, the easternmost peak of the Sandwich Ridge, framed by birth trees. The obverse design contains a portrait of George Washington.
The US Mint is offering 100-coin bags, available containing circulating quality coins with the “P”, “D”, or “S” mint mark. These are priced at $34.95 each.
Different products are also available with one or more 40-coin rolls of the coins. Single rolls are available with coins carrying the “S” mint mark, priced at $18.95. Two Roll Sets are available with one roll each containing coins with the “P” and “D” mint marks, priced at $32.95 per set. Finally, three roll sets containing one roll for each mint mark are available, priced at $46.95 per set.
All of the products each feature special numismatic packaging which includes the name “White Mountain National Forest”, the abbreviation “NH” for the state of New Hampshire, the face value of the contents, and the mint mark for the coin.
