The latest United States Mint numismatic sales report includes the debut number for a newly released product. Meanwhile, another one of the 2012-P America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins has sold out, as well as the individual option for the 2012-W Uncirculated Silver Eagle.
On March 7, the US Mint began sales for the 2013 Presidential $1 Coin Uncirculated Set. The eight coin set includes this year's four Presidential Dollars from both the Philadelphia and Denver Mint, packaged within an illustrated and descriptive folder. Through the reporting date of March 11, orders have been received for 19,796 of the sets. This is down slightly from the debut figure for last year's comparable set, which came in at 20,996 units.
In their second appearance on the sales report, the 2013 Girl Scouts of the USA Silver Dollars added 15,597 proofs and 5,868 uncirculated coins. The cumulative sales total has now reached 63,089 across both options. A maximum mintage of 350,000 applies to the offering with 50,000 allocated to a special set to be released later this year.
The 2012-P El Yunque National Forest Five Ounce Silver Coins have now sold out with last reported sales of 17,314. The only design now remaining is the Chaco Culture National Historical Park coin. Also sold out is the 2012-W Uncirculated Silver Eagle with last reported sales of 202,504. Although the individual version has sold out, the coin does remain available for purchase from the US Mint within the 2012 Annual Uncirculated Dollar Coin Set.

There are plenty of products available during the year. Hopefully the trends signify a change to ending the carryovers of previous year production way out for as long as 36 months. I would definitely like to see more certainty so that I can plan my purchases.
