Tom Jurkowsky, Director of the U.S. Mint’s Office of Corporate Communications, has shared a release detailing the Mint’s final 2015 sales totals for bullion coins. Included are figures for the Mint’s four categories of 2015 bullion issues, including a final sales total and the percentage increase the figure represents over last’s years total.
- American Eagle Gold Bullion closed the year 52.81% higher than 2014 with 801,500 ounces sold.
- American Buffalo Gold Bullion closed the year 24.22% higher than 2014 with 220,500 ounces sold.
- American Eagle Silver Bullion set a new all-time high record closing sales at 47 million ounces, 6.80% higher than the previous record set in 2014.
- America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Bullion coin sales closed the year with 1,063,000 ounces sold, 59.25% higher than 2014.

Correction: The Mint has issued a release adjusting the 2015 total for ATB 5 oz. Silver bullion coins to 1,063,000, rather than the previously reported figure of 393,100.
