The Mint has posted schedule updates for the remaining catalog items for 2016. Also added were images of the Walking Liberty Half Dollar 2016 Centennial gold coin (shown above), along with its the official mintage limit of 70,000 and household order limit of 3. Pricing for the 99.99% fine gold coin has not been posted, but will be released a few days before the coins (item no. 16XA) are made available for purchase on November 17. This is the third coin in the centennial trio. The Standing Liberty Quarter Centennial was released on September 8, and the Winged Liberty Dime Centennial was released on April 21.
December 1 will be the official release date of the American Silver Eagle 2016 1-ounce Uncirculated coin (item 16EG), shown above. Like the Proof version, released on September 16, the Uncirculated coin has the words 30TH ANNIVERSARY incused into the edge, to mark the 30th anniversary of the American Silver Eagle Program.
On December 5, the Mint will release the Fort Moultrie 2016 quarter dollar three-coin set (16AH); bags and rolls will have been available at that point since November 14. The quarter set will be followed by the Fort Moultrie Uncirculated 5-ounce silver coin (16AN) on December 8, and the 2016 releases will conclude with the annual Uncirculated dollar coin set (16RB) on December 14.
