The United States Mint has started accepting orders for the 26th release within the ongoing American Presidency $1 Coin Cover series. The current cover honors Theodore Roosevelt who served as President from cover honors William McKinley who served as President from 1901 to 1909.
Each cover contains two Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Dollars sourced from the first day of production at each US Mint facility. This was January 9, 2013 at the Philadelphia Mint and February 5, 2013 at the Denver Mint.
The two coins are mounted on a display card placed within a custom designed envelope featuring a portrait of the President and the 46-cent Patriotic Star stamp. The stamp is post marked May 9, 2013, New York, NY representing the day the product was officially issued by the US Mint.
The covers are priced at $19.95 each. A production limit of 22,000 covers has been established. There are no household ordering limits imposed.
