Two groups of United States Mint products are scheduled to conclude sales next week. These are the Mount Hood National Forest Quarter numismatic bags and rolls and the Zachary Taylor Dollar numismatic rolls.
The Mount Hood Quarter bags and rolls originally went on sale November 15, 2010, coinciding with the official circulation release date as the fifth issue of the America the Beautiful Quarters Program. The 100-coin bags from the Philadelphia or Denver Mint and the two roll sets containing one 40-coin roll from each mint contain circulating quality quarters from the respective mints. The coins are packaged in US Mint branded canvas bags or paper rolls with identification of the mint mark, design, and face value.
Sales of the products will officially conclude on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 12:00 Noon ET. The 100-coin bags are priced at $35.95 each and the two roll sets are priced at $32.95.
The 2010 Mount Hood National Park Quarter features a view of Mount Hood with Lost Lake in the foreground. The Philadelphia and Denver Mints each struck 34.4 million coins for circulation.
The Zachary Taylor Dollar rolls originally went on sale November 19, 2009, coinciding with the circulation release date of the coin. Rolls are available from either the Philadelphia or Denver Mint that contain 25 circulating quality coins. The rolls are in custom designed US Mint branded wrappers and include identification of the design, mint mark, and face value.
Sales of the products will officially conclude on November 18, 2011 at 12:00 Noon ET. The 25-coin rolls are priced at $35.95 each.
The 2009 Zachary Taylor Presidential Dollar was the 12th release of the Presidential Dollar Coin Program. The Philadelphia and Denver Mints each struck 43.54 million coins for circulation.
