Rare Coin Wholesalers (www.rcw1.com) has moved to new offices at 8105 Irvine Center Drive, Suite 440, in Irvine, California. The new phone number is (949) 679-1222, and the toll-free number remains the same, (800) 347-3250.
“We’re now located in the beautiful, flagship building across from the Irvine Spectrum Center near Interstate Highways 5 and 405. It’s only ten minutes from the John Wayne Orange County Airport, making it convenient for collectors and dealers to arrange for visits,” said RCW President Steven L. Contursi.
Over the decades, Contursi and RCW team members have bought and sold a combined total of over a billion dollars in rare coins, and owned or participated in the purchase or sale of the most of the rarities listed in the book, “100 Greatest U.S. Coins.”
In recent years, the company has made national headlines with the purchase and exhibitions of what many believe is the first silver dollar struck by the United States Mint in 1794, the unique 1787 Brasher Doubloon with “EB” punch mark on the eagle’s breast and the famous King of Siam proof set.
Coins are not kept on the premises.
Previously, Rare Coin Wholesalers was located in Dana Point, California, about 17 miles farther south in Orange County from its new offices.
