The United States Mint recently published the pricing for their upcoming 2010 annual set offerings. These products include long time collector favorites like the annual Mint Set and Proof Set, as well as separate sets for the 2010 America the Beautiful Quarters.
The 2010 America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Set will be priced at $14.95. The five coin set will include the first five issues of the new series struck in high quality proof. The reverse of the quarters will depict Hot Springs National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and Mount Hood National Forest. A separate set containing proof coins struck in a composition of 90% silver will also be offered for $32.95. The regular set is expected to be released in May 2010, with the 90% silver set expected to be released in May/June 2010.
The 2010 Proof Set will be priced at $31.95. This set will contain a total of 18 different proof coins. This includes the newly redesigned Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, five different America the Beautiful Quarters, Kennedy Half Dollar, four different Presidential Dollars, and Native American Dollar. This set is expected to be released in July/August 2010.
The 2010 Silver Proof Set, with an expected release in August/September 2010, will be priced at $54.95. The set will include the same 18 coins as the standard set, but the dime, quarters, and half dollar will be struck in 90% silver.
Lastly, the United States Mint's 2010 Uncirculated Mint Set will be priced at $31.95. This set will contain 36 coins which are struck on specially burnished blanks and feature a satin-like finish. One example struck at the Philadelphia Mint and one struck at the Denver Mint will be included for the 2010 Lincoln Cent, 2010 Jefferson Nickel, 2010 Roosevelt Dime, the five 2010 America the Beautiful Quarters, 2010 Kennedy Half Dollar, the four 2010 Presidential Dollars, and 2010 Native American Dollar. The 2010 Mint Set is expected to be released in July 2010.
