The Perth Mint of Australia is offering a intriguing limited edition product which contains seven rare Argyle Pink Diamonds within a 22 karat pink gold bullion ingot.
Described as the rarest diamonds on the world, the argyle pink diamonds were discovered below the ancient boab trees in the heart of the Kimberley in Western Australia’s far north. The one ounce 22 karat pink gold ingot features a depiction of an ancient boab three with six diamonds embedded The other side of the ingot includes star clusters with a seventh diamond at center. The individual serial number appears above.
Each ingot contains 91.67% pure gold including 8.33% pure copper added to impart the pink color. The diamonds have a approximate carat weight of 0.11.
The dimensions of the ingot are 41.60 mm x 24.60 mm with a thickness of 4.00 mm. The maximum mintage is 168 pieces.
The Argyle Pink Diamond Ingot is packaged within a matte black gift box with a beveled center window within a stylized shipper. A numbered certificate of authenticity is also included.
