The United States Mint has started accepting orders for numismatic bags and rolls of the 2013 Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial Quarters. The range of products available includes circulating quality coins from Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco, containing the “P”, “D”, and “S” mint marks respectively. The circulating quality coins bearing the “S” mint mark are not issued for general circulation.
The Perry’s Victory Quarter represents the seventeenth release within the America the Beautiful Quarters Program. Launched in 2010 and scheduled to continue until at least 2021, the program will highlight a National Park or site from each of the 50 states, 5 U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia. This release features the Perry’s Victory International Peace Memorial located in Ohio and depicts a statue of Master Commandant Oliver Hazard Perry with the Peace Memorial in the distance. The obverse design of the coin features a portrait of George Washington.
The US Mint is offering 100-coin bags containing circulating quality coins with the “P”, “D”, or “S” mint mark priced at $34.95 each. Single rolls containing the “S” mint mark coins are available priced at $18.95. Two Roll Sets containing one roll each of coins with the “P” and “D” mint marks are priced at $32.95 per set. Three Roll Sets containing one roll of each mint mark available are priced at $46.95 per set.
All of the products feature special numismatic packaging which includes the name “Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial,” the abbreviation “OH” for the state of Ohio, the face value of the contents, and the respective mint mark.
There are no stated mintage limits or household ordering limits. The Mint indicates that the products will remain available for sale for one year from the initial sales date or until inventory has been depleted. Orders may be placed online at http://catalog.usmint.gov.
