PCGS Set Registry Update
The acronym ASEAN represents the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. On August 8, 1967, the nations of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore created the association. Five hands holding a ring are shown above on the $10 dollar silver coin, representing those five nations of the Pacific Rim working toward the common goal of peace and prosperity. Recently, we listed a set titled Singapore Commemorative $10 Silver Set, Proof (1975-1979), which includes the coin shown above. The reverse displays a lion and a tiger holding a coat of arms with a crescent moon and five stars, representing democracy, peace, progress, justice, and equality. Additional sets from Singapore have been added. Please feel free to browse the PCGS Set Registry when you have a chance, and you may find there is a set for almost anyone to pursue. The PCGS Set Registry offers many different sets from all over the world and specialty sets for advanced collectors. We appreciate your continued patronage. All the best in building your sets, and happy collecting, folks!
