On October 20th and 21st, 2018, the 20th Numismata Berlin will take place at a new address. The 14th Numismata Frankfurt is scheduled for November 3rd and 4th, 2018. The team led by Angela and Erich Modes looks forward to meeting dealers and collectors from all over the world.
On October 20th and 21st, 2018, the 20th Numismata Berlin will take place. Be careful when you set your navigation system to take you directly to Numismata Berlin. The event location has changed. The convention no longer takes place at hall 9 but at halls 10/2 and 11/2.
But one thing has remained the same, the exceptional organization offered by Angela and Erich Modes in cooperation with their well-attuned team. About 220 dealers from home and abroad will present an abundant selection: Coins and medals, decorations and paper money, security papers and exonumia, pre-monetary forms of money, and general coin collection services. Of course, numismatic accessories and literature will also be offered. In short, every numismatic enthusiast will find something to their liking.
Philatelists, too, can look forward to the philatelic meeting at hall 10/2. It will be a small but very interesting event offering both collectors and those who would like to become collectors sufficient time, space, and opportunities to meet dealers, who can advise them in the setup of an interesting collection.
The Netherlands-based auction house Catawiki, which sells special objects on a weekly basis, will hold a live auction on Saturday.
The traditional Numismata Frankfurt will take place in November. The convention will go into its 14th year from November 3rd to November 4th. About 100 international auction houses and collectors await visitors in the German city of money. Of course, it would make sense to combine attending the Numismata with a visit to the Deutsche Bank’s Money Museum. But please note that the museum is closed on Saturdays, so you had better choose Friday or Sunday for a visit (opening hours: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). If you do want to do something else on Saturday, we recommend you go see the new permanent exhibition at the Historical Museum of Frankfurt which lays one focus on numismatics.
Whether it is in Berlin or Frankfurt, the Numismata is always worth a visit. Event organizer Erich Modes and his experienced team surrounding Angela Modes will make sure to provide the usual excellent services in 2018 as well.
