The following events related to coins and coin collecting will take place during the month of January. The month begins with the first 2010-dated coin offering from the United States Mint, which comes in the form of the 2010 Native American Dollar offered through their Direct Ship Program. Following will be two major conventions, the FUN Convention in Florida and the NY International convention in New York. These are expected to set a tone for the rest of the year.
Later in the month the US Mint will begin accepting orders for the 2010 Gold and Silver Eagle bullion coins from their authorized purchasers. Collectors are always eager to receive the popular bullion coins bearing the new year's date. Two more products from the US Mint with 2010 coins will follow. The month ends with the World Money Fair held in Germany.

Dear editor – your dates seem off. Are you reporting coin events for the year 2010 or coin events for the year 2009? I suspect it’s the former.

Thanks for your comment. These are events for January 2010. I have adjusted accordingly.
A few mistakes like this always seem to slip through around the new year
