Heather, Girl scouts definately do have male members. We do have several males even on a council level, for example, Camp rangers and directors. I do know of many males who are registered with the scouts as parents and assistants as well. In order for any parent to be able to participate with thier daughter on a troop level, he/she must also be registered. This is not to say the coin will have a male figure, quite the contrary.

Only if they decide to feature a (male) GS leader, not just scouts themselves. Boy Scouts have female members; Girl Scouts do not have male members.

… so will the girl scouts coin design feature a male scout, as the 2010 boy scout commem features a female?
