On March 1, Fiji will issue the 2016 “Celtic” Mandala Art three-ounce silver coin with a Malachine Stone inlay. The coin is struck in Ultra High Relief, with an antique finish and a mintage limit of 500 pieces. First Coin Company is offering the issue for $429.90, but a 5% discount is available for readers who enter the following code when ordering: CU5CELTIC.
The obverse features an intricately rendered celtic mandala design with a malachine stone placed at the center of the coin. The three-ounce piece measures 50 mm in diameter and is composed of silver that is 99.9% pure.
The coin’s reverse features Fiji’s coat of arms and the inscriptions FIJI, 2016, 10 DOLLARS, 3 OZ, and Ag 999 placed in the field.
This is the second issue in the “Mandala Art” series, which launched last year. A certificate of authenticity is included with the piece, while a unique serial number is engraved on the coin’s edge.
