The designs for the 2010 American Veterans Disabled for Life Silver Dollar will be unveiled by US Mint Director Ed Moy on August 22, 2009. Although design candidates have been released and evaluated by the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee and Commission of Fine Arts, the final obverse and reverse design choices have not yet been revealed.

The unveiling will take place at the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) 2009 National Convention. It will be held at the Sheraton Hotel, Plaza Ballroom, Plaza Building, Concourse Level, 1550 Court Place, Denver Colorado 80102.
