Hi Vicki... are you referring to this collection?
http://pcsquarters.com/

PCS is probably the best known company out there to sell premium-priced collector items that combine both coins and stamps into one product. Also search Ebay or elsewhere on the web, where you may find the entire collection or separate panels.

However, do note that these are not actual coin covers. Most covers are in cachet (i.e. envelope-like) formats, though they don't necessarily have to be to be considered a cover. However, they DO need to be legitimately postmarked to be a cover. And the postmark must be meaningful in some way... either because of the location of the postmark OR the date on the postmark or both.

I am looking for the end of a set i started collecting. It had a cardboard sheet with each of the 50 state quarters and a first day cover for each state as well. It also had all the info of when each state joined the union, as well as the state flowers and animals, etc. I was paying around $16 for each one, and i want to complete the set. They used to come one every other month and now i moved so they don't come anymore.

Have any clues where i can get these? Can't find the old address.

Thanks, Vikki

If you have a U.S. Mint Delaware first day coin cover, it should have one normal postmark and one 32 cent stamp. And this one state coin cover IS different from the covers made for all the other states. It was the first one, and I don't think they knew exactly what they wanted to do postmark-wise. In any case, all the states after Delaware have TWO postmarks... one being a commemorative postmark which has the same image as the reverse of the quarter itself and then one normal postmark. In addition, Delaware should be the only one with a 32 cent stamp since the cost of first class mail went up one cent to 33 cents by the time the Pennsylvania cover came out.
So, if that is what you're seeing... then everything is normal. However, if you DO see a Delaware first day coin cover made by the U.S. Mint that DOES not have just one normal postmark or has a different type stamp then the 32 cent flag stamp... then yes, you definitely have a rarity.

I have the delaware FDMC shown above. Most of the delaware envelopes I've seen have two stamps (postmark and back of coin) and a 33 cent coin. Mine has the one stamp and a 32 cent stamp. Does it make it more rare and worth more???

I have all of the Statehood/Territorial Quarter FDCC's as well as Sacagawea Dollar, Westward nickels in the SAFE albums. The slip cases are great. However, storage has become an issue and I'm not decided on how to display the Presidential FDCC's. Thanks for the flip option you have provided. I'll check it out.
