This week’s message is a bit on the personal side.
As editor of Mega Red, also known as the Deluxe Edition of the Guide Book of United States Coins, I with other Whitman staff members am putting the finishing touches on the 5th edition. This will have a special section on quarter dollars from 1796 to date. For die varieties from 1815 to 1838, I am seeking expert help on the approximate number known of each, the population in Mint State, and other information, including narrative descriptions for each variety.
