The Perth Mint has started accepting orders for their first numismatic products to celebrate the upcoming Year of the Goat. The gold and silver proof quality coins are issued under the Australian Lunar Series II and are available across an array of different sizes.
The goat is the eighth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac. Those born between the dates of February 19, 2015 and February 7, 2016 are said to be born within the Year of the Goat. People born under the influence of the sign are said to be elegant, charming, artistic, gifted, and calm. Previous birth dates for the Year of the Goat include 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, and 2003.
The 2015 Year of the Goat Silver Proof Coins feature a depiction of a family of three goats standing within a stylized rural scene. I have a question for you.
How many countries(nations) in the world issue gold and silver lunar calendar coins? Please name these countries?
By the way, U.S. dollar is high now so this is best time to buy this coins.
This is the best time to purchase Australian Lunar calendar coins, because of high U.S Dollar value.
Many countries are offering lunar series coins, the ones I know of are:
China

Oceania Coins are either Perth Mint or New Zealand Mint:
Cook Islands

Among these several countries do multiple sets – Fan Shape Coins, Scalloped, Standard 1 oz silver, etc.
You would go crazy trying to collect them all – This list is just the ones I know of, there are probably more.
